Crystal Reports For Net Framework 20 X64 Redistributable Package 64 Bit

admin

I've searched high and low. SAP doesn't seem to care. Is it really true there is no deployment package for our applications developed in VS2010. Used to be you could include there mongo merge file or simply have your clients download and install the redistributable from the SAP web site. I can't find such a solution as of yet. Can we, as vs 2010 developers, package up the merge modules that came with vs2010 and distribute to our end -users? Is there a downloadable redistributable package?

Thanks for any help. Greg Kowieski The World On-Line. Don't feel bad. It didn't work and screwed up my system for deployment even worse. I had to setup a new machine.

SAP is notoriously bad at making these downloads available. Or in an easily accessible location so hopefully this link still works by the time you read this. Jul 7, 2017 - Net Framework and very soon GINESYS will start supporting the new. Crystal Report Redistributable (runtime) 13.0.20 (82 MB).

However, I have not tried what is mentioned below. Honestly, I feel like us developers need to find another solution, the MS reporting tool is a joke and SAP appears to have problems keep up with the joneses. Don't get me wrong, I love Crystal. But, having my software dependent on a release a year after I'm forced to use the newer development modules really blows. Greg Kowieski The World On-Line.

Hi Greg, I completely understand your pains. Without making lots of excuses it was all due to timings, dead lines, product paths and the bottom line, the all mighty dollar. Does SAP spend resources on paying products or free products.

In the long run it should work out for all developers and this is a feature complete product, only thing missing is the external designer, and it has 64 bit runtime with most of the same options/features. Limited by third party dependencies only for the time being until they create 64 bit runtime. For help and updates go to SAP forums where you can get more info and full support.

As well as the info links above for current updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Don Don Williams. I keep getting this Error when publishing my application with clickonce even though I have Crystal Reports for VS2010 installed: I want the prerequisites to be downloaded from the same location as my app. Publishing fails with the following error.

The install location for prerequisites has not been set to 'component vendor's web site' and the file 'Crystal Reports for.NET Framework 4.0 CRRuntime_32bit_13_0.msi' in item 'SAP Crystal Reports Runtime Engine for.NET Framework 4.0' can not be located on disk. Even I have the same problem. Every time there is a new version of Crystal Reports, I need to upgrade all the reports in my applications and install the redistributable packages at the client machines. This also requires a lot of rework every time to take care of different versions of assemblies. When I upgraded my project to VS2010 from VS2008, the reports were also upgraded to Crystal Reports for VS2010.

I have installed the Crystal Reports Redistributable for Visual Studio 2010 on client machine downloaded from - It worked for me. I was just thinking if there is any way to bundle all the dependencies into the main application's executable file without having to install any such redistributable packages separately.

If you know any such method, please let me know. Thanks Microsoft Student Partner.

There is some kind of problem with 'Crystal Reports for.Net Framework'. It installs quite good, but does not uninstall. It wont budge, even if you try to remove it manually using the Add/Remove programs. My scenario: I have installed 'Crystal Reports for.Net Framework 2.0 (x64)' manually. I installed it using the CRRedist2005_X64.msi file found by default in 'Program Files Microsoft Visual Studio 8 Crystal Reports CRRedist X64'. I am using a 64-bit machine. To be double sure, I clean installed the OS twice and installed Crystal Reports.

This happens with Windows Server 2008. It un-installs well on XP (used Crystal Reports 32-bit one). I dont have Vista to try on. Is it the problem with the OS or the CR redistributable file?

How do I uninstall this? Will our application be held responsible if it does not uninstall from the machine? Will it fail the test? Thanks in advance.

Hi there Sounds like Crystal reports is not uninstalling cleanly on 64-bit Windows Server 2008. Is that correct? For specific questions on support for Crystal reports I would encourage you to contact their support folks. As long as your application uninstalls cleanly without issues you will be eligible for the works with program (meaning, the app will not fail this test case) If there are dependent applications that are third party applications, then a waiver can be requested if such third party applications don't uninstall cleanly. Thanks, [Venkat]. Hi Venkat, I am not installing Crystal Reports product as a whole, but only the redistributable package for.Net framework, that installs a few shared assemblies in the GAC.
