Hello Keepers, This thread will be used to facilitate team building enquiries for the 4 Star Magicite Dungeon: Savage Tiamat. To assist those who will be helping out, those who needed a hand in team building please adhere to the following guidelines: • List the problem you have, if possible go into details of why you are unable to accomplish the dungeon. I have two teams that struggle with Tiamat for opposite reasons. Do you have any other decent healer relics? A blink or last stand makes this fight a lot easier.

As for tweaks for the first team I would try running OK as a 3rd dps with chain blizzaga (cast mUSB whenever available to speed up Edea). Ditch Shelke and slot in a 2nd healer with ace striker. You could give deuce mages hymn instead of shellga.

The 2nd party probably doesn't require OK if you use deuce bsb as your buffer and give a mage Hastega. Sygic maps windows ce software. You could slot in one of your other dps options (maybe Edea as she is a better self-buffer) instead. Not having a lot of success with the mage team. The issue is once you get out of the scripted attacks in phase 2 it is just a matter of time with Tiamat's speed that you eventually get caught with back to back Savage whatevers if the Jet Fire doesn't one shot Edea no matter the healing throughput.

First I subbed Shelke with a dived Ysh just to see if I could brute force heal through it with Ysh/Deuce but this is when I learned it didn't matter as eventually Tiamat will catch your healers with their pants down with no meter or speeding past a medica cast. Then Arc which saw some success but once you get past the scripting you never know when a regular Jet Fire is going to eat the blink or just keeping his meter filled with Curada running out of hones.

I changed OK to a battery to see if that helped which it did but not enough with the DPS being too slow. I die, at best, at 50%. The physical team does better and just decided to dive Squall but still saw average 50% health before death. I dropped Edea for Laguna and saw my best success (35%?) and am debating diving him (if I invest heavily in the next FF8 banner I 'think' it might be worth it) but I don't know if that will be enough to carry me through.

Getting Last Stand up is a miracle. Generally I am forced to 'oh shit' USB instead and the healers are getting there by the skin of their teeth. Wind resist accessories are preferred for this fight as savage twister pierces resistance, also it means shellga is pretty pointless so I would swap that for protectga, no need for silence resist also. I imagine you have a sub 30 team after working on your magicite deck a bit, ideally along with your wendigo you should add in: • Gizamaluke/liquid flame • Krysta/fenrir • Isgebind • Dullahan For now a clear party I would suggest: • Squall/ SSS / Gathering storm RM • Snow/ Icicle rush / lifesiphon / Ace striker RM • Ramza / wrath / entrust / DMT RM • Sarah/ Ultra Cure / warriors hymn/ MM RM • Selphie / Curada / Protectga / Battleforged RM RW wall, main magicite wendigo.

I would leave snows bsb at home and just focus on getting the chain up and running followed by a cast of usb for the radiant shield. Better off entrusting selphie with spare gauge later on. Cast Sarahs bsb after the first twister, selphie cast protect, ramza bsb then cmd2 x2 and entrust snow. Squall cast wall then SSS into bsb, cmd1 3 times followed by cmd2 spam.

Snow lifesiphon into chain then icicle rush and usb when available. Get one of the healers to cast wendigo & don't forget to recast wall and buffs. If Squall gets hit with the attack down move and Ramza bsb isn't available soon just reset. Any questions let me know.
