Try the Prolific Drivers at: I have a Dynex Dx-UBDB9 Serial-USB cable that did not work in Windows7 and downloaded this driver: PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_10311.z ip It even worked on my 64bit system. Good luck Also, Remember to unplug anything plugged into your USB ports, install the software, reboot the computer, plug in the USB-Serial Cable (but disconnect it from what it is attached too, ie, a GPS unit), and windows7 should recognize it. Then plug in your GPS, modem, or what ever is plugged into the serial-end of the cable and you should be good to go. If all else fails, let Windows7 try find the driver for you, Windows7 is much improved.
